On 22nd and 23rd of May 2018, Protos Great Lakes, as lead organization for the Belgian Non-Governmental Agencies (BNGAs), organized, together with the Belgian Embassy and Enabel, a 2 days fundamentals training on Financial Risk Management and Fraud Mitigation for all Belgian actors and their partners in Uganda.
Together with our partners, we work on drinking water, sanitation and water for agriculture for around 100,000 people each year. Moreover, Protos interventions on water today are levers of sustainable social, economic and structural changes.
In Uganda, Protos and its local partners developed a participatory monitoring & planning tool for adaptation to climate and environmental change, resulting in an introductory brochure, an extensive manual for facilitators, and a short documentary.
In 2014, Protos and JESE decided to focus intensely on the Kayinja landing site in order to develop a model site that can document on the methods for the improvement of the livelihoods in changing climatic conditions.
